Fostering Hope Devotional

I love to tell the stories of foster kids.  I especially love to tell stories of hope.  That, after all, is what this site is all about.  There is another set of words that are particularly hopeful.  And healing.  And life-giving.

When the two are brought together, the result is something beautiful.  Something powerful.  Something alive.  I hope you read it.  I hope it encourages you.  I hope it touches you.  I hope it trashes you.  And more than anything?  I hope God speaks to you, and that you are forever changed by that encounter.

Great site and very informative. We are the Life Launch Ministry providing relational, emotional and spiritual support to youth who are aging out or have aged out of foster care. We provide a support team of 4 to 5 individuals who agree to meet with the youth and share their lives, their ups and downs. Strangers become friends, friends become good friends and that leads to the creation of a type of family who provide agape love to each other.

Also, the fostering hope booklet is very helpful for our support team members.

    Regards, Johnt

Loved the devotional! I am the mom of ten adopted foster children, when I downloaded the devotional I thought it was about hope…….I was delighted to find it was not what I thought. Very well done!!!!!!! Wish it was longer. Thanks for blessing people by sharing the stories.
