OK Foster Wishes
OK Foster wishes believes that everyone has a responsibility to Oklahoma’s orphans. It is an organization that creates opportunities for our community to connect with and support foster children through giving, serving and mentoring. It is a way to bring care and dignity into the lives of these children, to provide a sense of hope for their future.

At 53 years old, I’ve discovered only two things can make me cry anymore. The first is completely silly – a sad movie that has nothing to do with my life. Second. The most difficult. The tears, the eyes, the hurt of a child. Silent, and yet so heartfelt, it can bring me to my knees.
And now, I’ve discovered a third influence on tears in this season of my life. I am reminded that it is never too late to grow, to change, to learn… I am deeply and profoundly moved by the words of Doc Shrop and her wonderful corrrelation of scripture with today’s tribulations, but also by the love and deeds of OK Foster Wishes. A place my heart can feel at home. Friends in both Deb and OKFW that will last a lifetime. What a wonderful world!
